Harborside

My husband and I shared a nice light lunch with a beautiful view of the water. The food was delicious and enough for us to take home for dinner and our server Kerry was so kind, personable and attentive. Perfect place to enjoy great food and unwind.

Harborside is one of those great local places. The menu allows you to have your fish a number of different ways with or without add ons, which means you will have to go several times just to try them. They offer quality non seafood items as well, although the seafood offered is the freshest I've tasted. They offer different waterside seating. Overall a great place great menu without the high price.

What a shame that this review is only 5 star cause I give it 100 star. You need to come and enjoy this menu , the food is awesome the customer services is impeccable. My first visit and believe me Brittney is excellent, when you got there you need to ask for her she is amazing. Love this place , the food is incredible. Love it .

Our server Susan was excellent.She made our dining experience unforgettable.We had the Halibut topped with crab meat. It was the best meal we have had at a restaurant in 20 yrs. We will be recommending this restaurant to everyone we talk to.They are lucky to have such an excellent manager as Russel.

First time here in years the service was excellent I had the ribs and they were perfect had that nice char burn from the grill yummy. My wife had the stuffed crab cakes and love them

Had the bartender, Brittany, as our server and she was great. Usually hate having the bartender because you get lost in their other responsibilities. She was attentive and always available to us. We would ask for her again.

My wife and I went here for dinner on our anniversary. We had an amazing experience. The food was awesome and the service was even better. Our waiter was Tommy. He was very informative in answering questions we had. This was our first visit, but definitely not the last.

Menu is full of delicious food. It was hard to pick. Will definitely keep going back to try more items.

We were out today and stopped by for lunch, as always the food was excellent and our server, Brittany, was outstanding. She was very helpful and attentive and made our lunch a very enjoyable experience. We recommend Harborside to everyone. Love this place!

Everything you loved about the old Harborside, except it's an actual upscaled dining experience. The food is scrumptious, and the service was outstanding. Though I was present for a lunch rush, the staff definitely bunkered down and took care of business. This just in: a gentleman SAT DOWN with the guests in the booth adjacent to me and was super cordial, and I presume He has waited on them before. Harborside has staying power my friends!

It was okay. We were a party of 7. 5 of us didn't like what we ate. Everything seemed overpriced and not worth the price. Two of our party of 7 were children. The kids plates were actually great. The tarter sauce is unique and tasty because it has Key Lime in it. The best thing about the restaurant is the view of the lake.

We had takeout on may 1st and just as good as usual. Hoping to eat in soon.

Delicious food, decent drinks, service was great. Huge parking lot was really packed, lots of people waiting for tables, didn't expect that on a Tuesday night. Still a good time, though, with no complaints. Would definitely eat here again.

I had been here a time before and had gotten Cedar plank Salmon which was barely cooked. I originally did not like this place because of that one experience before but decided to give them another shot, This time was a lot different! The bread was very good. The salad was outstanding and I do not like salads that often. The homemade dressing in the salad was very amazing. The cheese in the salad was very good. The Fettuccine Alfredo (with chicken, that’s quality was actually worth paying extra for!) was very good. Overall I’d come back here. Prices are a little bit higher but I liked it. The server went out of his way to accommodate us all and provide outstanding service.

Food was good, but one of our dishes was cold. However they resolved it quickly. Service was good, and we couldn't see the view because it was dark out. But all else was good.

Food was great, but the service was amazing! The staff make this place! This restaurant accommodated a group of 6 adults and four kids, no problem. We had a great experience!

Delicious fish and seafood. We had sirloin, shrimp and fish tacos. Attractive comfortable place, good view and good service made this an excellent meal experience.

Had the Beer battered fish and chips. The portions were generous and the entree was delicious. This is the best beer battred fish I have ate. The facilities were clean, setting was great, situated adjacent to lakeside. The service was excellent. They provide docks if you travel by boat.

Shrimp Platter was great. The fettuccine alfredo was average. Service was with a smile. The server was more than willing to accommodate special diary needs. Lake side views inside as well as covered patio. Amazing sunset.

I had a whale of a fish sandwich there with bacon and it was great. I never had bacon in a fish sandwich but it went really good together. The view is nice too. There's a very calm atmosphere during lunch. You can eat while seeing the waves and boats sail by. The place is very nice now.

Our waiter was Julian, he did an excellent job even with it being a busy Sunday afternoon. Fish and chips was hot and good! There was enough to share! Salad is always tasty. Clam chowder wasn’t hot but great flavor. The sea skins and onion rings were hot and fresh, not greasy.

The food is great!!! We had the absolute WORST waitress!!! If you get Olivia as your waitress just leave! She is horrible!!! Took 20 minutes for her to come to our table, another 30 minutes to get our drinks, drinks came out WRONG, told her they were incorrect she just said “oh” had to ask her to correct it she just brought out the missing ingredients for me to make my own drink, she didn’t put all the food orders in, the table had to then wait for the kitchen to make the rest of the food in the meantime the food on the table was getting cold. She just handed the drinks and food to the first person at the table she didn’t place the food in front of the corresponding people. There was more than enough room for her to hand every person their food or drinks! Also, she told us to stack the plates and hand them to her. You would’ve thought we were at a fast food restaurant which is exactly where Olivia should be working!!! Again, the food is amazing! Kitchen gets 5 stars!!

I was in town for work and ate there several times and had nothing but A++ service. I highly recommend checking this place out. Great selection of beer and wine. While I was there I had the clam chowder, house salad with Salomon and fish tacos and food was great every time. Amazing Lake view as well with small bar area to sit near the lake.

Brittany was AMAZING! By far one of if not the best servers we have ever had! She was attentive but not overbearing and on top of everything. The kitchen forgot part of our order and instead of making an excuse, throwing them under the bus or anything else she just said, “I see we still need to get X for you.” And got it. It is a simple act but too often people look for the easy out of placing blame on a teammate and she did the right thing, no blame needed, she just handled it.

Really loved this place, the food was outstanding and the service was terrific. Had a view of the lake, and was just a great afternoon meal. Definitely recommend this!

Very good food and a very popular place. It's also quite scenic situated on the water. Outdoor seating is available, but it was a blustery day when we were there. Boats go by on the canals or stop, dock and dine there.

Exceptional service! My family and I were in town from Atlanta, GA and we wanted to try a seafood restaurant in the area. I called at the last minute for reservations, and they were able to accommodate us, a party of 8 which was great. Once we arrived the manager greeted us, he was very nice & courteous. My family and I definitely enjoyed our dinner and the staff was extremely professional and courteous as well. Our waitresses were Sibol & Sherrie they were amazing!

I've been eating at this awesome restaurant on the Chain of Lakes for about 1/4 of a Century! The food & atmosphere gets better as time goes by! There's nothing else that comes close to dining here. Just bring your friends & family here & show off this water-side gem of ours! Please wait till this Covid-19 Virus is gone~Because I miss eating there too!

The food is more expensive than your average seafood restaurant but it’s well worth it. A very modern and relaxed atmosphere with great dishes. I’ve had a pleasant experience each time and it’s one of my favorite places ❤️ Tasty food and pretty views

Food is great but service is lacking. I ordered a steak but 30 minutes later they told me they were out so I ordered again. After I got my steak, I had to ask a total of 3 waitresses for a steak knife & 20 minutes later I got a steak knife so I could eat my steak. By then the steak was cold! Not happy.

We had such an amazing experience at Harborside today! Food was so good! Gatortail is a must! Brittany was our server and she was phenomenal! We never had to ask for anything our entire time we were there and she makes the BEST margaritas! Thank you harborside for such great food and service!!! Best yet there are open and ready to serve you!!!

Fabulous fried shrimp dinner with excellent salad and onion rings. Had Key Lime Pie at 3 different Winter Haven restaurants this week. Harborside was by far best! Thanks!

We were this afternoon and food was excellent as usual. However since this is a slow time please clean your restrooms properly!!! Dust is very thick, nothing has been wiped to clean for the virus! All surfaces were extremely dirty with lots of dust! PLEASE CLEAN properly! I hope dishes and tables are being properly cleaned too!

Was so nice to sit out on lower deck bar! Bartender's were serving. We ate at the bar and food was amazing drinks were good.

Had reservations for a Thanksgiving dinner previously confirmed 2 weeks in advance for a 7 PM seating on 11/28/19. After ordering three (3) Thanksgiving dinners we were told they were out of mashed potatoes, squash, corn and stuffing. They substituted sweet potato fries and mixed vegetables. The turkey was in crumbs and ham was the but end with rind and grizzle. We ended up paying full price for the food. The server was good and apologetic. Also, we had been to the restaurant a couple of previous times with a good experience. Unfortunately we had brought friends from England who have a home just north of Winter-haven who had never been there previously. It was not a good experience for them. Thank God the bartender knew how to make a good vodka martini.

We went with some guys from work. It would be a great place to take a date. Food and atmosphere were fantastic.

We had a great time! The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Britney took such great care of us. We were running out of time and she got our party of 12 fed and ready to go in no time. The food was out of bounds!

We have been wanting good seafood and that's exactly what we got. Oysters were amazing, the fried shrimp was crispy, peel & eat shrimp were perfectly done and seasoned just right and the fried gator was out of this world. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the restrooms. Plus our waitress Leslie was such a sweetheart! This was my first time there and it'll definitely not be my last. Can't wait to visit again

The view was beautiful and food was good, but the service was not. We waited 45 minutes to get our appetizer, which was just a scoop of smoked salmon dip and some veggies. It took over an hour to get our food. People who arrived after us got their food before us. Sadly, not a good first impression.

We have a lovely meal! The service and atmosphere was wonderful! We had crabcakes, fish and chips and grouper sandwich. Everything was cooked perfectly. Brittany was our waitress and she was excellent! You absolutely cannot beat the beautiful view of Lake Shipp!

Inside dining at the Harborside Restaurant and it is fabulous! The food and service was great and cannot wait to do it again!

This place has become one of our go to places. Our last visit was on my 60thborthday Jan 21. The food as always was Fabulous. Forgot my phone in the car so no pictures.
